Pros

I regret to say that there is almost nothing

Cons

It was a deeply unsatisfactory experience working for my previous company. The major issues were grossly underpaid wages and the lack of a flexible working model, which mandated daily office visits. Additionally, the company's culture and the behavior of the people were extremely disappointing. To start with, the salary offered was significantly lower than industry standards, which felt highly devaluing considering the hard work and effort put into the job. There was no proper scale for compensation and no significant raises, which left me feeling unappreciated and undervalued. In addition, the insistence on a traditional office-based work model without any allowance for remote or flexible work was extremely inconvenient. In the present era, when remote working has become so prevalent, this felt archaic and unnecessary, significantly impacting my work-life balance. Lastly, the quality of interactions and the general conduct of people in the office was subpar. It was disheartening to witness a lack of professionalism and respect in workplace interactions, contributing to a toxic working environment. Overall, this experience has been one of the least rewarding periods of my professional career. Future prospective employees should seriously consider these factors before accepting a position with this company.

Pros

The colleagues are the biggest plus - open, interesting people from all over the world with a shared geeky mentality. Work itself is quite interesting, although it can turn into a routine pretty fast. Generally speaking, lower management stands on the side of their teams and cares about the people.

Cons

Changes in company structure lead to bringing a number of people from outside the company to higher management. This lead in return to drastic changes to the previously heavily promoted laid-back culture. In the past lower salaries were balanced by the "fun" factor and friendly atmosphere. Nowadays low salaries remained and everything else became worse. Higher management is detached from the employees, people started to be treated only as resources, work pressure increased, transparency is non-existent. Communication within the company was never great, now it is even poorer.
