Owners are very friendly and kind, everyone who works there is generally great. We all receive annual bonuses, and the office is closed the week between Xmas and New Year's (though you may still have to work remotely). Suggestions for improvement are generally welcomed by management. There's also a free snack and drink bar area.
Cons
No 401k match, suggestions to management are not always followed through on, all operations positions also support the owners' 6 other companies (though some are tiny), so there is a cultural disconnect because the same Brightwing culture is not spread to the other companies. Plus, depending on your position, the workload can be extremely high and working up to 70 hours a week is expected.
Just a paycheck facilitator as I worked as a contract employee for another company. BW was never involved in my day-to-day activities and never knew my job title, responsibilities or performance. They have no interest in my excelling, except to take a cut anytime I earned myself a raise. They never even offered an exit interview.
