      Toxic senior management culture and environment. Lack of openness, honesty and transparency. Do not accept challenge to poor practice. Limited diversity. High leadership salaries.

      Pros

      One of the best workplaces I’ve ever been in. Staff are passionate about the work they do, and want what’s best for the organisation and service users. Very inclusive and transparent recruitment process. Option to move to 4-day working week after successful completion of probation.

      Cons

      Maybe provide more structured training for staff members transitioning to a manager or lead role.

      Pros

      Genuine care for clients. Kind and thoughtful colleagues. Supportive of training opportunities. Generous leave allowance. 4-day week.

      Cons

      Having worked for the organisation for quite a while, I think they are a good employer. They struggle to meet the salaries of private companies, but they are a charity so this isn't unexpected, and has never made me question staying with Brook.
