Pros

Some very talented coworkers who do good work and you can learn from but are mostly taken for granted. Some bigger project brand names for resume. Remote but still potential for meaningful relationships.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations from management, including key leaders who get frustrated or are antagonistic. Company acts like a 6 month start-up or vanity project aiming for unsustainable growth instead of supporting its existing community. Will easily take over your entire life if you don't set your own boundaries.

It was not good.

Pros

-A lot of interesting and challenging projects. -Generally good team members with a lot of creative and engineering talent.

Cons

-Surprise meetings talking about why people have not gotten paid and accusing us of not being team players for being upset about it. -Operates on a fly-by-the-seat of your pants mentality with near denial level of timelines it takes to make a quality product. -Forcing long hours to meet deadlines and promises to clients that do not make sense. -Lack of business focus and chased too many different projects stretching teams too thin. -Volatile management with often unpredictable behavior. -Complete lack of HR. -Constant stress and worry that the business would collapse.

Interesting projects - toxic people

Pros

Interesting projects, good conversation, creative vision

Cons

Toxic people in one of the teams which completely ruin every 'pro' benefit since they're trying to be all over the place
