Pros

Working with the children and families.

Cons

Toxic environment. Bullying & harassment by management. Advancement opportunities are based on favouritism & politics. High turnover - 90% of senior staff have left. Sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, you name it. Save your own mental health and run for the hills! There’s a reason they have such a bad rep in the community. It’s ALL true!

Disgusting and toxic workplace

Pros

Nothing is good at CASA. They need a complete culture change.

Cons

All the rumours about CASA being a toxic workplace are true. Aggressive bullies are protected and supported. There is no career progression unless you are the bully or you are brown nosing someone in middle management. Do not approach HR for help. They will just try and fire you if you raise any concerns.

Pros

You will have great colleagues. The office space is nice. If you have a good manager at CASA, you will be treated well and have many learning opportunities.

Cons

There appears to be a disconnect between upper management, and staff and clients.
