CATT Lab Response
7yThank you for the detailed feedback! Feedback like this has been helpful as we continued to refine our processes and make sure that our employees aren't wasting time looking for needed information instead of focusing on the work in their area of expertise.
We did a poor job of supporting our development supervisors in the past, so I can see how they might have been unavailable when needed. I applaud your initiative and willingness to identify work and make the best of it. I am sorry that you had to do that. We've restructured our teams in a way that allows team leads to focus on their team and be available. I believe that you would feel differently today than you did in 2015, and that's in part thanks to you and your peers for providing this type of feedback.
As far as desk shuffling is concerned... this is a pain associated with rapid growth. Our organization grew quickly and sometimes that presented logistical challenges of who would sit where to ensure that teams were co-located. While we are still growing rapidly, we've acquired additional space and have logistics experts on staff that have made a world of difference in minimizing disruptions to our development teams.
