The training is bad/nonexistent (and that which there is is training you're expected to work during instead of paying attention to), management lacks the ability to communicate and will provide contradictory instruction, improvement of existing procedure in terms of providing help within company capacity is prevented. Compassion Fatigue and burnout is rampant. I got into this position thinking I would be able to better help people, my position was more geared towards telling people there was no available assistance than it was to helping people access the services provided.

Management in the program level is great and always helpful. but their hands are tied because of upper management that just worry about their personal stuff never listen to the staff when asked for anything always get to hear denial or asked to resign from the position. you get only 2.5% of raise a year and maximum raise you could get is not more than 60cents a year their maximum hourly wage is $23 an hour and if you have reached at you $23 no more raise for you. so much favoritism in the whole organization. always prefer their favorite one when its time to promote the experience or knowledge of the program doesn't matter, doesn't matter how long have you been in the field if you cannot praise your boss all the time good luck!!! getting to promote anytime. the Benefits are equal to not available you get PTO for 75 hours yearly with no sick time if you get sick during the year good luck going on vacation
