      A shrinking market

      Pros

      Great people, fun to work there, and occasional bonuses when sales are hit.

      Cons

      Mismanagement at the top that never has to take any accountability for failures. Layoffs of the lower levels are what ends up happening. CARB/EPA rules are destroying most of the profitability and so this market will eventually only have a few companies left with razor thin margins to work with.

      Fun atmosphere, collectively everyone is avid car enthusiasts, amazing opportunities to see what’s happening in the automotive industry.

      Lacked communication between departments, and upper management

      Pros

      It was fun to work with people who enjoyed the same automotive world at you. There is room to grow within the company and my manager was very supportive of that. It was a very collaborative environment. The benefits were really nice, we even got discounted products for our own vehicles.

      Cons

      Sometimes it took a while to get the help I needed in order to do my job and make sure our customers were helped and happy with us. It began to get more stressful than it was worth.
