Poor Company Management and Project Management
Pros
Generous annual leave, good medical insurance package.
Cons
- Top management The company lacks the leadership and capability to handle mega projects effectively. Senior management allows incompetent employees to remain unproductive while overburdening hardworking staff without recognition, appreciation, or fair bonuses, treating their efforts as a given. Due to the absence of a proper administrative system, management (including the MD) frequently assigns engineers unrelated administrative tasks, such as organizing events, booking catering, and even cleaning the office, despite their already overwhelming workload. This is a complete waste of talent. Most leaders take a hands-off approach, failing to delegate tasks reasonably. Instead, they simply offload their responsibilities onto engineers, setting unrealistic deadlines with inadequate resources—expecting engineers to perform miracles. - No proper training There is a significant gap between management and junior staff, with no structured training or systematic guidance. Juniors are left to rely on mid-level employees for mentorship, although seniors are consistently overloaded in project, leading to high turnover.
