Pros

Pay checks were always cashed

Cons

The most toxic environment I’ve ever experienced in my entire adult life. From the top to the bottom, there is active backstabbing, throwing others under the bus, and an overall culture of blame. If someone tries to help remove this toxic, blame ridden culture, they are either fired or forced out. CPI likes this culture and makes no moves to change it. There is no work life balance. The expectation is that you will always be on-call for any reason. If you have a vacation, you better be prepared to come back at a moment’s notice. Addressing this topic with anyone typically results in the answer “well, that’s a part of the job.” There is no willingness to change. Ethics are not present at CPI. Everything from employee disciplinary actions to business decisions are focused through a lens that is the opposite of “do what is right” and feel shady at best. You will be told that there is a high ethical standard at CPI, but witness the exact opposite day to day. The willingness to do what is right is not present. Your health and well being mean nothing. The revolving door of talent is positioned as “they weren’t strong enough” when CPI is positioning the cycling of talent out the door. They don’t want to hear about improvement to the organization in order to reduce turn over. The responses from CPI here follow a format. One that says they provide resources and honor feedback. They don’t. Don’t be fooled. You are a number with mileage, and they will run you until you are worth nothing.

If The Seven Deadly Sins Were A Company

Pros

They have nice bathrooms (kind of)

Cons

A company should not be on the hunt for the same important roles in management or leadership every six months, and if they are that means that they have fallen into a hire-and-fire cycle. This can indicate a few things. One, leadership may be very fickle; unable to land on the specific qualities they want in a candidate. Two, the company may have a bad internal culture which makes retention nearly impossible, no matter how talented the new hires may be. Three, top level goals may be as fleeting as the talent.

Pros

My coworkers are fantastic people and very hard working. Weekend shift and the supervisor and team lead are great. As far as the support I get, everyone has been kind. I did get paid training for some things, but I never have a chance to use them.

Cons

Aloof and clueless production supervisors, constant blame on other departments and people for missed deadlines, no response to severe technical issues, poor training, no work training documents, poor production planning, no funding for better equipment, constant server crashing, outdated equipment and machines, favoritism, clients leaving, marketing promising things they can't deliver, and limited machines to run more products. They can't even pay for a better clock in the system that we've been complaining about for months that make us late for clocking in for a shift, clocking back in from lunch and break.
