Pros
Very good Salary/Good Bonus Easy projects to work on (only working on schools) Flexible work hours Care about employees not a sweat shop. Alot of great staff and people to help you if you have questions.
Cons
K-12 school work is bottom of the barrel as far as interesting work goes. -Not alot of advancement opportunities for engineers. -A/E firm but mostly Architecture with engineering. Don't expect MEP type of firm. I put this as a negative as I don't see this as beneficial to an engineer. -Decent amount of travel time and field work. You are doing a ton of renovations of existing buildings. Not great for someone used to New construction.
