They've developed a technology for 14 years and conned the government into funding various projects based on it. The technology doesn't work. It's barely prototype material and the owner touts it as "rock solid".
The owner is probably the biggest schemer, liar and talk-out-your-asser that you'll ever meet. He talks as if he knows everything while literally making it up as he goes, but he usually sounds like he knows what he's talking about. He'll make mistakes (daily) and come back days later and blame people for them. Oh - BLAME GAME - if you like playing it, work here. It's a constant battle to blame people for his own mistakes and mis-use of 14 years development time.
You'll be asked to do things that don't make sense. You'll be told wrong engineering facts and be called belligerent if you call him out. You'll be lied to and badgered into wasting days if not weeks working on silly projects that do nothing to advance the technology or products.
Oh, on to products. Wait, there are none. Everything made by this company has been a prototype, but touted as product level by the owner. The technology doesn't work and everything is based on it - everything fails. Repeatedly. And then again. And then more failures. You'll spend more time fixing things that will never work than anything else.
But don't take my word for it - go work there and find out for yourself. Be impressed with his constant babble and stream of conscious technology talk. You'll probably think he knows what he's talking about (you're wrong). I've literally told him something, then overheard him minutes later telling someone he just met ALL ABOUT IT - the whole time adding in his own details and things that didn't make sense to make it sound more interesting.
He actually never stops talking, if he did you might have time to think about what he's saying and realize he's full of (something that rhymes with hit).
