It's a horrible place to work. There is no work/life balance - they genuinely expect for you to make the job your entire life (working at every moment of every day, even on your days off) and they work everyone (from junior to senior) to the bone and expect you to be able to do absolutely everything and anything with little to no training or support (and truly terrible pay). There is barely any support for anyone whatsoever. They weren't truthful in the hiring process about what the handover / training period would look like. I had barely any contact time with my manager and then was berated for not doing things (that I did do, but they never took the time to find out). They blamed me for things I didn't do (and even for things that I was advised to do by HR!). What they expected of me (just one person) was literally impossible and I feel as though I was set up to fail. Although there are absolutely things I could have done differently (and that I have taken from it as points of learning for myself) the expectations they put on me, and many other people within the business, were completely unreasonable, and quite frankly, delusional. Then when many people didn't meet their unreasonable expectations, time and time again, there was never any introspection on how they contributed to the issues as a business. It was always the individuals faults, of course. It was just a horrible working environment in so many ways. There were even employees who were so stressed they used to be sick every morning before coming to work and others who would cry on their lunch break every day. It's a shame as it has the potential to be an amazing business - its got some great facilities and its full of so many brilliant people that I would absolutely love to work with in another environment. But their working culture, processes, recruitment, training, priorities, organisation, people management and senior management teams let it down. There's a million other issues I could write here to be honest, but I'll have to focus on these for now. I've never experienced any working environment quite like this one (and the crazy thing is, I think the people who work there think its normal - its not!) - apologies for the dramatics but my time working there was nothing shy of traumatic. If you're considering working there, just don't. There are SO many betters jobs out there.
