Pros
The food at the cafeteria was nice.
Cons
EVERYTHING about this place is a con. There’s nothing good about it. The job itself is terrible enough (outbound debt collection on an automated dialler) but what’s even worse is the way you are treated. Most managers are like school bullies and treat you like trash. My first TL while on training was so horrible. I was picked on even while pregnant. I had a dizzy spell one day and was being attended to by someone from HR, I caught a glimpse of that TL laughing at me… how horrid. A particular floorwalker who was best friends with this TL was even worse and belittled me every opportunity she had. I would ask her questions during training and she would just roll her eyes and walk away??? It was like going to a horrible school and having bullies pick at you everyday. The only thing that made me get through the day without a mental breakdown were friendly coworkers. An ambulance was called out to the office because I was so sick while pregnant, upon my return I was treated to a very condescending meeting with “higher ups” interrogating me. I had another TL after training that was very lovely to me and he was the only reason I bothered staying. You also get micromanaged to death. You get questioned for having to use the loo, pulled into a meeting for going over your break time by 2mins or login into the system a minute late. If you don’t kiss up to your bullies, you’ll never get a career progression. The pay is very basic, I have seen several work from home call centre jobs that pay more. This job was so bad that I was put on anxiety medication by my GP after I left. I work for a really great company now and couldn’t be happier but I still have PTSD!
