A Strange Place

Pros

Company offers Generous PTO (You will be made to feel guilty for actually using it so beware) , free snacks

Cons

Cliquey, unscrupulous, secretive, unintelligent. This place has a very high turnover rate as you can only keep a show going for but so long before people start realizing your ulterior motives. Personally I am very passionate about geriatric healthcare but not when the road to it as dishonest and uncertain as it is at Call9. Coercing employees into ponying up to have a bill passed and disbanding them shortly after is no way to run a business. Im not sure if I would trust the lives of my loved ones in the hands of a company that can edit and delete things that are unfavorable to them personally even when they are factual. This just isn't right.

Pros

- Fun office HQ in Sunset Park - Brooklyn - Cool Mission that can potentially help many nursing home patients

Cons

- Massively disorganized chain of command in the office. Everyone is the boss - Dishonesty is rampent throughout the colture because of a VERY clique environment [Specifically at the top because of very suspect promotion practices] - Secretive when it comes to changes even though transperency is often promised

I had so much hope.

Pros

Great mission but not the right tools for success.

Cons

Complete disregard for staff. Sadness overcame me when I was told that I would no longer be employed, a feeling that is indescribable. One I have never experienced or felt before. I felt numb when I heard the news. How could a company so dedicated to the well being of others and patient driven be so ignorant to the well-being of their employees. It hurt me so much when I heard the news, for this I would not recommend working here, there is just too much too gamble when as an individual there is so much to lose. I wish things could have been done differently. So many families will be effected by the recent turn around in this company, too many to count. Please rethink your processes and the well being of others if your mission is to improve healthcare. Many will face depression as a result of this.
