Deception. They told me it was customer service and 10-6pm. It really is sales and you must make a close ratio. They tell you they can send you home if you are not hitting that close number by a certain hour. In other words; it is 10-6 if you sell enough to make the close ratio. They expose the sales portion in training. They want you to try to sell online colleges. I do not agree with the process as they just want to to find out what major and concentration; then list the best college as the one that pays the most for the leads. Many of these people getting these calls, reported as, harassing calls, have no clear sense of self identity and do not need to go to college for their real best suited career. These people deserve real counseling, not scheme selling. They also tried to get us to sign a sheet that alleges we saw the policy handbook and they told us that they would eventually get us a copy of the handbook and access to it. They wanted us to sign for a policy handbook when we have not even seen it yet. There was also something they make you sign for, in regards to you being liable and not the company. There is a law which regards cold calling people when they do not want to be called. You are also not in full control of the calls, as it is an automated calling system. You do not physically dial the number and make the call, an electronic system does. Make sure you see the policy handbook and know the laws before you sign anything if you are going to work there.
