Pros
If you’ve ever looked at your life and thought, "You know what I have way too much of? Free time, fair compensation, and my own sanity," then look no further! Working here is the absolute perfect cure for happiness.
Let's start with the perks. The absolute highlight of being a Field Service Engineer at this company is the highly generous, unlimited unpaid overtime. Why get paid for your hard work when you can simply bask in the warm, fuzzy feeling of donating your evenings and weekends to a corporate entity?
The management team is truly a marvel to behold. They operate with the strategic brilliance of a blindfolded squirrel in traffic, providing a style of leadership that constantly keeps you guessing (mostly guessing how they got promoted in the first place).
And don't even get me started on the world-class training program! It’s a highly immersive, avant-garde experience where they throw you directly into the deep end with absolutely zero preparation. You get to organically discover how to do your job while everything burns down around you. It’s character-building, really!
Before you join, make sure to bring a lawyer, a magnifying glass, and possibly an exorcist to review the predatory contract. It's a beautifully crafted trap clearly drafted by someone who thinks basic labor rights are just gentle suggestions.
But the absolute cherry on top is the glorious two-month notice period. Because obviously, when you finally realize you've made a terrible mistake and want to escape, it takes a full 62 days to properly hand over all that unpaid overtime, non-existent training, and management-induced trauma to the next poor soul they trick into signing.
10/10 would highly recommend to you if you love unlimited unpaid overtime!
