      Overworked nursing staff leads to poor care

      Pros

      It's fulfilling working with patients. Decent pay for new nurses.

      Cons

      Supervisors are not helpful in times of need. For-profit hospital places profit above care. Work requirements increase without providing additional resources.

      Pros

      High salary for frontline staff due to union. Good benefits package. 3%-4% raise after three months. Helping patients work through challenges and gain skills for life!

      Cons

      Inept" top-down leadership." Short staffed, poorly "run," chaotic, disregard for staff needs, dirty, questionable neighborhood property and people safety, being ordered around and they make you feel as if you don't matter. NO Electronic Health Records or Integrative systems! It's all paper folks, like 1979.

      I really liked it. Easy but not boring. Coworkers are friendly.

      Cons

      Management is a mess. And it's a gossip mill pretty much. But as long as you don't get into the petty gossip, you'll be fine.
