Pros

Several very talented designers and carpenters on-staff at Case, they have a strong reputation in the Carmel area, Design-Build is a growing industry, one worth learning about from the inside-out.

Cons

- Irrational owner - Owner does not understand the design process and his expectations are constantly changing - High rate of turnover - Expectations of work output vary by employee, and owner's mood - Medical benefits have an extremely high deductible - No matching 401K plan - Only 5 vacation days per year, unless an employee has been with the company TEN years - Performance and salary reviews are irregular, to say the least

We are sorry this previous employee was unhappy with their experience working at CASE INDIANAPOLIS. This office is an independently owned and operated franchise. We always appreciate honest feedback about our company so that we can continue to strive for improvement every day. We take all feedback very seriously both from our clients and our employees. I must point out that the information shared about our company benefits is not accurate. We do have a company 401K match, we do provide more paid vacation than indicated, and we do have regular salary and performance reviews. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication our Case Indianapolis employees show every day. We are excited about the future and we are always looking for positive and talented people to join our Team!

Pros

Some really great people work there. They are leaders in their industry. There is no snobbery or pretentiousness, it's a very honest and results-driven environment. They value hard work. They value and reward good employees. They "try harder". It's very different if your in the field vs in the office - if you're in the field, you'd be hard pressed to find a better opportunity with more steady work, if you're in the office, prepared to be taken back 10 years in how you do business.

Cons

Their culture is very inbred. Senior management have spent the majority of their careers there, and can have a very closed view of how to run a business, despite being experienced in their industry. They move people up the ladder for tenure and hard work, but that sometimes results in putting people in positions of power when they really don't have the necessary leadership ability. Company is overly focused on sales and salespeople (if you're not in sales, you don't matter). And don't get on the wrong side of those with influence, or you could find yourself quickly out of a job. There is a tendency to work hard, not smart.
