Pros

--Flexible work schedule --Relaxed atmosphere --Not much supervision (if you consider that to be a pro)

Cons

--Hard work is not rewarded --Abuse of the "variable" employee position --Upper management pretends to care, but they don't --Very poor morale among workers --Care more about buying more equipment than promoting "variable" workers to full-time --Micromanagement

Pros

The pay and easy work load.

Cons

If management doesn’t like you they’ll make sure you never advance. They’ll also make it seem like you have a hard time grasping the information when they just gatekeep it from you. You’ll get into trouble for the same things everyone else in there gets away with. You’ll also get in trouble if you don’t know something cause someone told you wrong or waited til after you got in trouble to say something. The boss believes management without giving it a second thought. The two oldest ladies in the call center room are disciples of the day time team lead & report everything back to her (there’s one on day shift then the others on night shift). They all talk about each other and former employees (I’ve heard of over several people I’ve never met). They’ll make you feel like an outcast then wonder why you don’t want to talk to them. They lack emotional intelligence so if you’re having a bad day you have to remind them it has nothing to do with them (but they claim to care about mental health). It seems like HR just gives you the run around as well so someone should investigate that whole location cause there’s an alliance in there that’ll get you fired. They literally waited til their former employee was coming back to fire me the week prior. Dirty and low down but karma misses no one, sanctified & all.. even if it means skipping you & going to your loved ones instead. God don’t like ugly.

Pros

Good for starting your career, a lot of people you work with are lovely people

Cons

Management take on people who they know even if they are not exactly qualified. Managers don't know how to manage their staff, the have had very little training in this, low morale of managers is taken out on staff. Bullying from high management means people have gone on long term sick or have left. Staff are not appreciated and don't stay, mainly due to the poor pay. Clinic staff don't have to have a degree but all have and are exploited on terrible pay. If your face doesn't fit they will find a way to oust you. HR have no idea about confidentiality. Problems brought up about senior staff are brushed firmly under the carpet in fear of it instigating instability in their own employment. The worst manager are the ones who have been there for years and for whom it was their first job, Lots and lots of backstabbing behaviour, especially by those in high level positions who really should know better. Promotions go to people's heads even though the pay for them is not what it should be.
