In sales, it is high pressure with many goals and expectations. Regardless of inflation and people buying less, goals are getting higher. Many see the goals as unrealistic. Cellcom once was a company that seems to have gotten a lot less pro-customer and pro-employee and a lot more pro-profit. If you’re in sales you get to be in the front lines and be yelled at by customers for decisions made by those in cushy offices. Very corporate company and feedback isn’t valued. Any difference of opinion in something is seen as a lack of adaptability towards change. There is a lot of micro-management on those working at retail locations. If we are not trending to hit our goals, we have to send an email describing every single customer interaction we have and why we didn’t close sales.if you’re not hitting numbers they sometimes win’t let you transfer elsewhere in the company even if it isn’t a sales position at all. Our last three interviews for our store didn’t go well and we will probably go a long time not being able to fill positions we certainly should have filled by the holiday season where our store will be hit with crazy goals.
