The local entity is separate from the corporate headquarters. It does not have anything to do with it. Racial hierarchy and poor management practices. There is no variable compensation, no career advancement, and only Koreans are eligible. Often, after the initial employees have left the establishment, the Koreans are brought in to take their place. They will try to convince you that they are the largest pharmaceutical company in Korea. Be cautious if you do your research in Korea, since this company has a lot of problems and is not a desirable employer of choice. It will be said that you should be proud since you are joining them. Be aware that this company is not a multinational corporation or has any standards or practices comparable to other pharmaceutical companies in the world. It makes unsubstantiated promises of career advancement and financial success. Their job posting clearly discriminates against non-Korean speakers. This company then represents a red flag to any job seeker.
