Initially I enjoyed the position, but this ended up being one of the worst jobs I’ve had. Upper “management” doesn’t really exist which was frustrating and resulted in uncomfortable tension between associates.
Paydays missed several times (and not quickly rectified), no 401k match, poor benefits, etc.
Overall, this company lacks direction and the resources of their competitors. I would be surprised if they are still around in a year or two.
Cons
Virtually no leadership, poor organization, poor benefits, no room for advancement or pay increases. Awkward and tense work environment.
Small company atmosphere allows for professional growth opportunities.
The people there are fun to work with.
Lot's of opportunities to have your voice heard and take part in building the company.
Cons
It's a startup company so pay is less than what a large established organization can offer.
