      Remote first Org. Lay offs loom over your head

      Pros

      Great remote first org to work for. Talented workforce.

      Cons

      The same remote work might backfire bcz it limits collaboration and active team communication, bouncing ideas off of each other. Also, after the 2 rounds of layoffs (Nov'22, Sep'23), one couldn't say for sue when they will downsize again. To their merit, they give severance packages and career outreach program.
