Pros

The CEO is a person with a very strong vision and really inspires people to do good things. He leads by example and shows what it means to work with purpose. The people in the company are amazing, very creative, friendly, and always helping each other. You can feel that most of them truly want to do something positive in the world. The company talks a lot about values, many people enjoy teamwork and collaboration.

Cons

Sadly, the good intentions of the CEO are not the same in other parts of leadership. Some leaders speak about Leading with Clarity but they do not seem to understand what they are doing, and sometimes act arrogantly. There is too much blaming, and sometimes hard language that can make people feel small or bullied. Decisions are often not explained clearly, and disagreement is not always well received. Some people have said they were asked to leave quietly or have been presented with confidentiality agreements as part of their severance. This practice felt unfair to me. Overall, lack of clear communication has created a culture where people feel pressure to say yes to leadership, not because they believe in it.

Pros

I had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented and kind colleagues. Despite the challenges posed by leadership, my immediate team was collaborative, creative, and genuinely committed to doing good work. They were the best part of the experience and made day-to-day tasks more bearable.

Cons

I worked at Charitable Impact and unfortunately had a deeply disappointing experience. While the company’s mission may appear meaningful on the surface, the internal culture—particularly at the leadership level—tells a different story. Upper management fosters a toxic environment where questioning or challenging decisions is not welcomed. Constructive feedback is often met with defensiveness or subtle retaliation, creating a climate of fear rather than collaboration. Leadership tends to prioritize ego and control over actual impact or innovation. There’s a lack of psychological safety, poor cross-team communication, and an absence of accountability at the top. While there are talented people working at the company, many are either burned out or silenced.

Pros

Direct co-workers were a dream to work with, all intelligent, kind and collaborative.

Cons

Upper Management is currently being run by incompetence and has created a toxic workplace. Morale is currently at an all time low, anyone that has a decent thought or questions anything for the betterment of the company either quits or is fired.
