Pros
Most of the lower level employees are highly knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs, and working with them is a real pleasure. And the above average salaries (in most departments) are not to be balked at.
Cons
Senior management seem to have little idea about strategy or company positioning let alone the rapid pace of change in the online world. Their coping strategy seems to be to dump on the people below them with frequent shouting and threats. There is also very little trust in the ability of their team, which often leads to managers overruling an expert's decision, at times with disastrous results. The pace of change would make a snail look like a sprinter and the overall morale is quite low. Far from a "start-up" as it is sometimes described, this is a small company acting as if it was a large multi-national. And doing it quite badly.
