Pros

I wouldn’t work here if you paid me.

Cons

I wouldn’t give this company one star but I was forced to in order to leave a review. The owner, James, seems to be in his own world. He actually placed this ad on Indeed: Social Media Coordinator - Webmaster Graphic Designer - Computer Technician He really wanted a sales person. Three hours of phone time with this man and I still wasn’t sure what he wanted. I had to find out from his staff when I showed up to tour the place that he really only wanted a salesperson. Needless to say that when I told the staff that his ad was posted under false pretenses, he decided to hide away and not come out to speak with me. No surprise there... His staff didn’t seem at all shocked at his lack of focus. He even tired to negotiate for me to take less than my base salary for a two week “trial” period. I also found out that they don’t actually make cheese. They just buy it, rename it and pass it on as ‘local’. Terribly unethical in my opinion.

Pros

Small Company with a few nice people.

Cons

I didn't take the job, but was allowed access to the entire operation for over two weeks. To many regulatory cove-ups and deception. The largest customers are being lied to and eventually this house of cards will fall. I just hope that no one gets sick in the process. This company just repacks cheese from other manufacturers, and not a single one of those had any GFSI or HACCP Training or programs. It was an Approved Vendor/Supplier Program nightmare. From what I could tell a few qualified people got suckered in to helping them create the skeleton of a GFSI program but were let go or quit once they caught on to the fact that they would need to lie along with senior management to upkeep the charade.
