      great interactions with most staff, besides upper management

      Cons

      Management is unethical, corrupt, and only interested in money from donors + relationships with elected officials, they have no interest in the community. Annetta hires her friends to management positions and to the board, hires the relatives of board members, and pays herself a salary FOUR TIMES that of frontline staff, more than almost ANY other nonprofit of this size.

      Pros

      The work Chhaya does is wonderful. There is a great sense of community amongst the staff and folks are passionate about what they do. Chhaya is crucial to the community.

      Cons

      Management needs work. The organization doesn't have the infrastructure to support the work it does and has its hands in too many areas. Programs are understaffed with most programs having only one staff member working on them. Salary and benefits are poor.(under 45k starting salary)
