Rampant favoritism in my department (and it’s obvious my manager prefers females over males)
Too many managers, not enough actual workers
My team has worked from behind since I got there. The manager, while good at relating and good at putting out fires, isnt good at creating processes that last. Constantly making changes to processes that could have been implemented better in the first place so they wouldn’t have to be changed.
The manager hires friends then promotes them, some of which have no business being promoted.
No employee development. No support from managers or encouragement to grow. Senior management wants to grow with less. They will either shut down the fintech side within 1-2 years or they will have some growing pains and emerge as a top bank in the nation for fintechs.
