Pros
The CobbleWeb environment (fully remote, lovely colleagues and interesting projects) has been great for my professional growth while simultaneously supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Cons
Nothing to say here for now
Pros
Remote work. Great developers. Acceptable pay for low income countries.
Cons
Remote work is very limited, management states in your contract where you have to work; you're threatened with breach of contract if you work anywhere else without written permission. Not goal oriented. The amount of hours you work per day is more important than the quality of work you do. Lots of employee (developer) turn-over. Poor feedback policy. As a new developer I received feedback once after 3 months, generally I felt it was positive. After that I received no further feedback until I was told that I hadn't improved on any of the issues that were discussed during the first session (a total of 2 minutes of negative feedback). Learning is not encouraged. I was a bit low on work so I decided to learn some new tech I was interested in. I didn't bill CobbleWeb for the time, but that day was my worst in terms of time spent on tasks. I was told that learning things that were not related to the company (in my opinion it was) was to be done on my own time, and only work was supposed to be done during work hours (established in the contract and enforced even for a remote role).
Pros
I love CobbleWeb's flat hierarchy and being able to work with a great team on challenging projects, utilizing a highly diverse tech stack that is updated on a regular basis. From a lifestyle point of view, the 100% remote role, coupled with market-related remuneration, provides a good work-life balance.
Cons
Lack of team building events.
