      Extremely poor handling of 18% layoff

      Pros

      Could not find any, especially after the extremely poor handling of layoffs and offer rescinds.

      Cons

      Please do not join this company as I wouldn't want anyone else to suffer the heartbreak of being laid off abruptly with systems cut off without notice and without being able to say a proper farewell to your team.

      Systems and technologies are the most advanced that I’ve ever used.

      Cons

      Lack of structure - there’s no ownership in the organization. Company values and very different from what the leadership team preaches. Had an extremely bad experience with the payroll team for an organization of this size. Payroll overpaid salary, just dropped an email asking for the salary back without any breakdown, no phone call to inform. This is after I’ve left the organization for more than 1 month. Team needs to buck up with communicating and ensuring that these basic things are being met.

      Pros

      The salary and perks are good. You get to travel to the US a few times in a year.

      Cons

      No salary is worth your peace of mind. The culture is chaotic, unsupportive and brutal. There is little opportunity for learning especially if you're in the international teams that don't ever get to work on interesting projects. The middle managers are out of touch and overall unnecessary. The completely remote culture does more harm than good and most people stick it out because of golden handcuffs.
