Pros

None what so ever. By the way, all the 5star reviews are fake. CEO asked to everybody to post them.

Cons

- The culture of the company is toxic. Its all about blame game. - All the people in the company are fresher and have no professional experience. - no one has the freedom to do their work. everybody has to please their reporting manager and work according to CEO. - The CEO is not from technical background but takes technical descisions. - The company is run on whatsapp. - Need to work on weekends. - The focus is to save money rather that make a good product. - Its not a company, its a political institution

Pros

Pros = Good product in 2014; CEO is the only man you should please; He is all in all, he is the PM, Engineering lead, Sales head and also security guard Business team always enjoys by travelling; Engineering team works 24/7 even Saturdays and Sundays which is super; even during marriage of senior engineer he and she was assigned work.

Cons

Cons] No stock options, Salary is well below market, zero job security, interns are made to slog and forced to stop studies, even on Saturdays/Sundays whatsapp messages from CEO will be sent as a reminder to work, Culture is such that promises are meant to be broken. Only core members get benefits.

Pros

The good learning curve for a beginner level engineer Met some of the amazing technical people here and learned a lot

Cons

CEO will always bug you for giving bonuses but ends up giving none of it. NOONE can take a stand, not even an engineering head or CEO. Don't know why people still see loyalty in the CEO's words. There is always a budget for buying Coffee Machine Stuff but none for spending on Slack(Communication channel). Only one GODFATHER of company and you all would have guessed it right till now. No point of giving money to investors if only thing which they do is talking.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, a big cheers to our technology team. They are awesome! The bonuses are issued keeping company's as well as individual member's performance in mind. I am not even a part of the decision making team when it comes to bonuses for the engineering team. The head of engineering and reporting manager take the call. But we will surely try to do more regular and structured feedback in future so that it doesn't come as a surprise. The Coffee machine is there for the team-members and not anyone else. It is something everyone enjoys. In fact, I am glad to share that the decision whether to continue with the cafeteria's coffee or get a machine was also taken democratically. CollPoll is a technology-first company which is clearly reflected by the fact that we have always had more than 60% of the team in engineering. We have many members since 3+ years not because they are loyal to me, but because they believe in the vision and impact we can create by building together. Finally, the company has always been very transparent on compensation. We are very well aware that we are a startup and can't match MNCs. However, we do offer a great opportunity to learn fast, punch above the weight and a fair chance to grow as the organisation grows. Members join, stay back or move on keeping in mind what they are looking for. Best wishes, Hemant, CEO
