doomed

Pros

used to be a nice place to work with good products.

Cons

this company is being stripped for parts by investors and shredded by layoffs. Toxic culture. Avoid like the plague. Note that Wolfston is no longer CEO, he is suing the company over it. Sounds fun right?

Downward spiral into nothingness

Pros

* benefits * pay * office location * free parking

Cons

This company has gone downhill, fast. They will do massive layoffs without trying to place people in new roles. They do not care about the people, and will layoff even the most senior and longstanding employees. Don't expect any warm and fuzzy feelings working here, or any reviews or positive reinforcement.

No Longer a Good Company to Work for

Pros

Reminiscing about all of the great employees that are no longer there because they have been laid off.

Cons

The company has been procured by private equity and it was not an improvement. Poor communication, substantial layoffs, no raises, no reviews, no future.

Pros

- Good work/life balance and company culture - Good health benefits - Flexible work schedules and WFH policy - Co-workers are very friendly, easy to get along with, and enjoyable to work with

Cons

- Rubicon has taken over the company and will probably make significant changes - Widespread department layoffs from time to time - Uses older technology and is aversive to innovate - Pay is lower than industry standard for most employees - Tendency to be siloed and on your own - Advancement can be difficult and personal development usually has to be found outside the scope of work as opposed to working with newer tech
