Pros
The hiring process was very straight forward. Ideal if you are desparate for work. They are the largest care company in the UK, so if you are looking to add their name to your resume, it's a plus. Liverpool branch doesn't wear scrub uniforms. They wear all black T-shirt, trouser and shoes. If you hate scrubs, you will love their neutral casual look.
Cons
Very aggressive and demeaning in their email correspondence. We once had an email sent to all carers about 1 of us not having the right outfit, and essentially shaming them for it. They love and encourage snitch culture amongst employees. When the office is closed on bank holidays and weekends, you have no one to rely on for suppory via phone call. They do have an emergency line, but it's strictly for emergencies only. If you need to call sick, you can't. If you are unable to locate the client or gaim access to them, there might be a grey area as to whether this is considered an emergency. And you better be sure it is before you dial the number. Otherwise you will here from management on the next working day, and it will not be a pleasant conversation. They make you feel like the hours are flexible, but you actually have no room to choose when you want to work. The contract is zero hours, and if you voice a complaint about them not being flexible, You will 100% be 'zeroed out.' i.e. denied hours of work entirely.
