      Company building new hospital on the backs of their employees.

      Pros

      The pros of this facility are 12 hour shifts, talented nurses and doctors, eventually a new facility, educational reimbursement, parking structure with free employee parking.

      Cons

      No union, understaffed, missed breaks, employees are micromanaged, managers are under qualified, HR department not well versed in employee legal rights, employees work sick due to unrealistic sick policy, held raises to build new hospital, then asked employees to contribute to building of new hospital.

      Pros

      Hospital culture has changed over the last year for the better. Appreciate HR Department participation in change. Nursing empowerment and rate increases are a plus. Non-union and proud of it.

      Cons

      Sr. Management needs to be more accountable to employees.

      Worked in Pulmonary and poor management with cliques among MAs that pretty much come and go as they please

      Pros

      I was hired right out of college. It's great for experience but that's it. I was here for 2 years and worked with a top Pulmonologist who taught me more in 3 months that 2 years. Just ignore all the gossip and do your job and you're good.

      Cons

      Constantly stressful due to favoritism in management. No cross-training which is helpful if someone is out sick. Not enough training (1 day) and your on your own. Board of Directors even was called in due to losing 2 providers and 2 employees who quit due to Rockwood and lack of communication.
