The micromanagement at this company is outstanding. It has been my experience that not using specific words or phrases in a meeting will result in serious scolding. Individual thought is at times discouraged there are also numerous weekly meetings.
There’s a noticeable trend towards group scolding, which breeds anxiety and fosters a fear-driven need for perfection amongst peers.
There appears to be a strong focus on maintaining a certain image within corporate circles, sometimes at the expense of effectively leading the team. The management style can feel inconsistent and selective, with some employees experiencing more pressure than others.
The absence of a formal HR department means that addressing issues can be difficult, and voicing concerns may not always be well-received. While recruiting is inherently demanding, the atmosphere here adds additional challenges that could be better managed.
When I first came across some of the negative reviews about this company, I was apprehensive but gave it the benefit of the doubt. The owners assured me that those reviews were just from underperforming or disgruntled employees. However, after my time here, I can see there’s truth to those reviews.
The micromanagement is stifling and the inconsistency in leadership is frustrating.
