Company culture:
1) There is no proper leadership in this company. Also, most of the employees working in the engineering team are BSc pass out people. CTO or so called VPs are BSc or BCom pass out people and they don't have good public speaking skills or technical skills. And they tend to pressurize all employees.
2) This company tries to control their employees in all possible ways.
3) Sometimes, they will give you awards to make you feel happy. But, at the time of appraisal, they will always find childish reasons not to consider you for appraisal.
4) There have been many cases when people were not at their desks and they took their laptop and said it's their last day. Firing without any reason.
5) They will give some silly reasons and put you in PIP. And if you resign after that then they force you to serve a complete notice period. They literally put you in PIP and then tell you to buy out the notice period.
6) HR managers are literally puppets of management. All decisions pertaining to HR are taken by management.
7) Virar office is like all dump people gathered at a place. You will hardly find any technically smart and talented people there.
8) Because of upper management's pressure, HR department doesn't even care about employees. They always tend to be in favor of the company.
9) HR teams never respond to any of employees' concerns, until they get any answer from management. When they do not have any valid answer to employees' questions, the common answer given by them is "this is as per company policies".
Technical problems in contentstack as product:
1) They are successful in establishing contentstack as a brand. But since there are no talented people, the product is in a situation that sometimes their engineering team is not able to handle production issues.
2) Company management plays bad politics in work as well. Sometimes they won't let good things happen in the project.
3) There is the worst quality code written by freshers and a lot of technical issues are there in the code.
4) Those who try to do or suggest any improvement in the project, have to answer silly questions of CTO/VP who don't even have enough technical knowledge.
5) Recently, they think, they have started following agile methodology. There are a lot of flaws in agile practices they follow and what they are following is not agile methodology.
6) Future of the product doesn't seem to be so bright. Eventually, clients will start leaving as engineering team won't be able to provide a good service.
Don't get attracted by verbal communication with HR. Never trust their verbal communication. Always do written communication with the company HR or management team.
