Pros

Overall Contractor Connection is a pleasant place to work. Toxicity is low, and employees work well together. There is a sense of job security due to its growth. Technology will not be taking over human positions here anytime soon. It's a good place to work if you're tired of retail hours or waiting tables and want a steady paycheck. It's also great for younger people looking for their first full time job or for those that lack technical skills. Advancement is fairly easy for the first 3 levels.

Cons

Real career advancement is poor. Management and skill level positions are reserved for outside applicants. You get "typecast" into your role and not seen beyond that. Even making supervisor is a political game in which it is more important to be well-liked than proficient. I've applied for at least 4 or 5 other positions with the company and been turned down each time. If you have any higher education or above average intelligence do not work here. You'll quickly become frustrated at the lack-there-of above you. Benefits have gotten far worse with the implementation of the high deductible policy. You'll pay your premium and 100% of your medical costs until the high deductible is met. But I believe this is typical anywhere.

Pros

Good location and easy commute for me. Plenty of parking. Initial interview with HR was easy, follow up interview was basic questions

Cons

Training was not helpful, learn how to do things on your own. Management is not involved like they should be and helping our customers. They take all the credit for the work we do. Seems like they only are in it to make themselves look good
