Pros

Our sales director is massively supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. Great team to work with. The comms plan is first rate and always paid in full and on time. a really transparent senior team with clear expectation. amazing incentives.

Cons

There have been some people that you just cant do enough for, they have moved on and moved on again, what does that tell you?! Who writes negative reviews, especially late at night?? Tells you all you need to know.

Pros

cannot find any reason to work there unless you are desperate.

Cons

After resigning, HR informed me in writing that my accrued holiday would not be paid because I did not work through my notice. Future employees should be aware that statutory holiday pay is a legal right and cannot be withheld.

Pros

They pay you a salary

Cons

My experience at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment was deeply disappointing. The leadership style at the top is rooted in outdated, authoritarian behaviour, with a CEO who often relies on belittling and heavy‑handed tactics rather than constructive or supportive management. The culture feels stuck in the past, and this approach filters down through the organisation. The current management team operates like an exclusive inner circle, and their attitudes can come across as exclusionary and insensitive, with racism, homophobia and sexism at the forefront. What was once a strong, reputable business has deteriorated due to poor leadership and a lack of transparency. Much of the company’s external messaging does not reflect the reality inside the organisation. Employees are expected to conform to a culture that many would find ethically challenging. Those who do fit in often do so at the expense of their own values, while those who don’t are unlikely to thrive. While the commission structure looks appealing on paper, the actual opportunities to earn are far more limited than advertised. In my view, there are far better options in Norwich. Several boutique agencies still operate with the professionalism, respect, and supportive leadership that Cooper Lomaz once had. These organisations are far more likely to invest in your development and give you a genuine chance.
