Pros
- Great exposure to be working with global business division in Tokyo, Asia, Brazil and Mexico. Teams are collaborative and are hard-working. - Flat structure in the global businesses; the management teams are approachable and hands-on with their teams.
Cons
- The global business were shifting their business goals every few months (responding to covid, market outlook, approvals from Tokyo HQ), had to pivot continuously and work with ambiguity. - Established parent company in Japan, however, the other global subsidiaries were working like a startup. May interest some people with the ambiguity and flat structure. - Can be bureaucratic and hierarchical when the Tokyo HQ team are involved.
