Unethical company

Pros

Company paid lunch(only in one location) nice coworkers.

Cons

CureMD's culture raises significant concerns, with a clear presence of favoritism and exceptions to established rules. Management's resistance to change and a secretive approach undermine transparency and hinder the company's growth potential. Gender bias is evident, as male employees are allowed to choose their work schedules, contradicting company policy. The compensation structure is uncompetitive, leaving employees paid significantly below market standards. The HR department is in disarray, marked by a prolonged approval process for any implemented changes. Furthermore, employee morale is notably low, fueled by a perception that the company prioritizes business scaling over individual career development. Overall the HR department (in US) at CureMD exacerbates the challenges, comprised of non-professionals who appear unfamiliar with their roles, creating a chaotic and inefficient work environment. This lack of expertise adds to the overall concerns about the company's internal operations and employee support structures.

Pros

Lots of smiley faces and empty promises. It SOUNDS good from the outside looking in, but this company simply cannot deliver.

Cons

At the drop of a dime everything and everyone will change. This is an org that fears their CEO - he is unstable, disconnected, has poorly maintained his insight into the US health system and technology infrastructure. CEO has surrounded himself with yes men - no women. He will tell you he wants radical change and disruption, and then in the very next breath he will challenge you and fire you if you suggest change or disrupt. Culture is toxic. EVERYBODY plays the game of cover their butt instead of leading with innovation. Work you complete successfully - will not be recognized. Your manager will take credit for it. The product is ancient! Dust comes out of your computer when you log in to a rudimentary 1990's microsoft interface. The most recent update they brag about is 10g (currently working on 11g). 10G was deployed as a 'game changing' release in 2014! In 2024 less than 50% of their user base was using the 10G format. In early 2024 - 11g was announced internally with LAYERS of promises from the CEO - and so far NONE have been delivered. Operating in shades of grey and outright dishonesty is completely supported. Lying to partners in order to gain investments from them is a day to day occurrence. Making up data points and using them for marketing is absolutely expected. In their sales process - they claim to be the only vendor to do A, B, C....they lose instant credibility because what they are calling their unique selling proposition is literally technology that most EHR vendors have had embedded in their product for years! Included with all that - horrible compensation packages and they have no issues changing quotas, comp, or agreements in place.

Mismanagement at its Finest

Pros

The people they manage to snag (staff and middle management) are superb and are really friendly. They will do everything in their power to make you feel welcome. Also, there is little expectation for you to stay late/do overtime. The interview is easy, and could be a decent stepping stone job for career development, just don't stay too long!

Cons

Never before have I encountered a company as poorly managed as CureMD. First off, most of the 5 star reviews are fake (I've seen management write them off fake accounts). The sexism is rampant in this office. Roles have specifically not been given to people due to their gender identity, and the higher ups in HR do not do anything about it, leaving junior HR employees and middle management in uncomfortable positions. Horribly degrading comments about how employees are replaceable and how staff have nowhere else to go are common. Upper management protect and promote each other not because of their qualifications, but because they are all friends and family. Employee feedback is not taken into account, and they feel that just because they give us free food once a week we are supposed to not have issues with how we are treated. They care more about planning summer parties than actually helping their employees grow and develop.
