Pros

None. Seriously, this place is a mess. Okay, maybe one pro, they're located in Brisbane which is a quaint little town just south of SF.

Cons

1. Overworked employees and don't hire enough. Takes them > 6 months to bring on a new team member. 2. Employee turnover is rampant. More people try to escape Cutera than North Korea. The average person only lasts about a year (+/- 6 months) . 3. Their products are frauds and technology is dated within the industry. 4. Management is shady, non-transparent, and full of infighting. 5. Morale within numerous departments is extremely low, due to being overworked and bad management. 6. They hire shady people who do not follow regulations (even though they've been warned) then try and sweep the mess under the carpet. 7. Compensation is low by Bay Area standards.

Pros

The last 4 Cutera reviews reek of an organized effort to enhance the image of the company. All have taken place over the last month and before that Cutera had nothing but negative reviews. One reviewer states they are an Area Sales Manager with 10 years of experience. Credibility instantly shot. No ASM has been with the company that long and the average tenure is 1-2 years. Another reviewer claims there is an open door policy and that Cutera has a family-run feel. The problem is that the only people in the "family" are the executives and board members. The last few reviews have used smoke and mirrors to try to trick prospective employees. This is right in line with what it takes to sell a Cutera laser.

Cons

Lots of positive comments about the new sales management team being exceptional. Make no mistake, the new sales management team wrote them. You guys have too much time on your hands.

Pros

You are given autonomy to try to make it rain and last more that 1-2 years. You have the opportunity to build relationships with customers and peers. This is not an Israeli laser company like some of the others in the industry.

Cons

The insiders are writing positive reviews to boost the image of the company. There were 3 reviews written in March that are horse poop. Cutera insiders could at least space the reviews apart, all were written within a week! If you take this job, know that it is very hard to sell these lasers, you will get paid a fraction of the money that the recruiter says you can make, and there is no stability at this company. Good luck, you will need it!
