Those good people but they are not in management positions. I saw some critical and hardworking people laid off this week who didn’t deserve it. People often join the government for job security, At least I feel fortunate to be in a different department where I still feel secure. Now I see them repeating the mistakes of the past.
Excellent work culture, good pay for public-sector, and excellent benefits. Most administrators and managers are very good with their staff and the public. Amazing HR department who are highly supportive of employee health, safety, and wellbeing.
