Pros

Very young team, team mates are very open and willing to help Easy to bond, everyone is very sporty and outgoing Good learning opportunities as a very wide breadth is covered, will learn a lot Very fast and agile, with a lot of autonomy to handle situations, work processes Good opportunity to enter the supply chain industry as they are one of the few companies willing to hire fresh graduates

Cons

Once you prove that you are able to perform well, leaders will pile you with so much workload while pay doesn’t change. there is a “side mission” project that leaders say is not compulsory and up to personal interest, but they don’t mention that if you don’t take it, your pay doesn’t increase. essentially breaking up full time roles into “side projects” for you to take on. especially true for locals and fresh graduates eager to prove themselves. On the other hand, some team mates and even leaders are always nowhere to be seen, can be unresponsive to emails, text messages, even deadlines for a few weeks/months with absolutely zero consequences. no side mission at all, and yet they are drawing higher salaries. Manager always like to preach that feedback is welcome, but once any kind of displeasures get voiced out, becomes super defensive and shuts down any kind of discussion. wants to receive feedback but unwilling to listen to criticisms. Also likes to blame Singaporeans for the mess that the entire department is in. Always saying stuff like “don’t be too Singaporean”, “please speak up” in department meetings. Blames high turnover rate on Singaporeans and the apparent “job hopping culture” here. Clear demonstration of favouritism from Manager when one of the leaders leaked sensitive information regarding the department when they uploaded their personal drive onto the shared drive. Investigation was launched, but instead of punishing the leader, they tried to cover it up and to push the blame on the people who accessed the file. Not sure if the leader got away scot free, but am inclined to believe so.

Pros

- Great company culture - Opportunities to play sports - Lots of learning opportunity, steep learning curve - Great teammates - Good work life balance - Given high level of autonomy to make decisions - Promotes a "zig-zag" career in the company

Cons

- Fresh grad pay is decent, but have to fight for increment every year, which can be sabotaged if you offend the wrong people - No AWS - Poor VB scheme, up to 10% monthly bonus (which will never be achieved), inflexibility to change the bonus KPIs despite the current global crisis - Lots of politics in supply team, beware of double headed snakes - Most leaders are followers, some are inexperienced, some are bad at prioritizing tasks - The leaders are easily influenced by hearsay/rumours, lack of trust - Hires an extra headcount as backup for each team incase someone leaves, they are always identifying/predicting who will leave the company - Great company, but disappointing management team in supply

Pros

- learning how to deal with politics - learning how to suppress your emotions in order to be professional - every day you have to greet everyone even though you can’t even bring yourself to be associated with these people

Cons

- Managers are extremely incapable and definitely not fit to be leading a team - they themselves seem like they don't even know what is going on and they don't even have experience in leading the team - No training provided at all and they expect you to know everything - totally ridiculous and absurd. Managers are totally directionless and unable to help you improve your skills. Google is your best resource and friend here unfortunately. - Office politics is real even though they claim that they don't have politics and that the office is an amazing place to be. If you don't have favour among your bosses and colleagues, you're doomed. The managers literally gossip about you behind (or even in front of) your back and source for negative feedback about you from others - The managers are fake and two faced. In front of the whole office they treat you like a friend, smiling at you and talking to you. But behind closed doors when they talk to you, it’s totally different. - Everyone is watching your each and every move. Forget about your social life, family or weekends. You are expected to work every single time of the day no matter what. If you're not responsive on weekends or when you're out of office, you'll be contacted on your personal mobile which is rather invasive and intrusive of your personal time and privacy and you'll probably get blacklisted so get prepared to be fired. - Lots and lots of fake promises which would not be fulfilled. Claims that you have the freedom to do whatever you want. But it's all a lie... Managers are resistant to any sorts of change, even positive ones. They believe they know best even when you show them that your idea is obviously better. - Monthly meetings are basically useless and a waste of time. You are expected to change based on feedback that your manager gives you. But your feedback to the manager gets shrugged off and nothing is changed because manager is always right lol. Everything you say will be twisted against you and you end up regretting whatever you say. What's worse is that the managers go around spreading gossip about you from these meetings which they claim to be "confidential". - Everything moves painfully slow, even making minor adjustments. For starters, be prepared to wait at least 1 week for your contract (which should have already been a red flag honestly...), up to 3 months for your laptop and regarding your pay — I heard from an intern previously that his/her pay was always about a month late which is really monstrosity at its finest. - Pay is not as competitive considering this is a big company. Benefits are almost non existent as well. - Bad location and even more awful food choices so you don’t even have lunch to look forward to. Come here if you want to have a horrible time, experience office politics, 0 personal growth and lousy compensation! They say birds of the same feather flock together - so if i were to describe the culture in 1 word, it would be incapable. But then, it’s hard to only describe it in 1 word because 1 word is just simply not enough. My regrets are not leaving early enough and joining this company in the first place. So please save yourself the pain and skip this place entirely.
