Pros

Is nice to work on ur own time

Cons

I've done doordash for 3 years never did they ever take money from me bc I was late due to car issues they however have a rating system that it affects witch front there affects the orders that come thru. Went from $20 over all to $5. Deliver that took $15 as a penalty for being late. That is very wrong on ever level. I wouldnt recommend anyone to work for them now due to this issue. Where did my money go? Why wasnt I told of this "policy"? Very disappointed and very unhappy. My grandmother worked for you and you did this to her when she struggles to make ends meet that is why I am furious You stole from a elder!

Pros

- You choose when you deliver - You can make one delivery at lunch time and earn $25 in an hour or less - A lot of times you get a tip

Cons

- You can typically only fit one or maybe two deliveries in a day

Horrible Experience

Pros

Grateful customers were wonderful. They appreciated the effort and care but those were pretty rare unfortunately. When you had one they usually were good tippers too.

Cons

Most customers take the service for granted and do not appreciate the job we do. Most are in the medical field and don't pay for this service. Usually the pharmaceutical representative is absent and so is a tip. Training was dismal and it really should be given more consideration. I was not aware that all EZCater tips were tip pooled. After 10 weeks of jobs averaging 2 per day I found out that is not always true. After I started asking about it...mysteriously store managers were getting complaints but most of those were out of my control. Complete transfer of customer information was rare. Most of the time there was an issue with missing or incorrect address and phone number. Oh and you cannot mention the tip at all even though that is what makes this horrible job worth it. If you say to them as you hand them the receipt, "Here is your receipt. You can add a tip if you'd like." Then total, sign and print." (I've been saying it for years as a server.) You are soliciting a tip.
