If I could give zero stars for compensation and management, I would
Pros
Met a few nice peers at Dentsu that made day-to-day work a bit less unbearable
Cons
Horrible HR, little to no concern for junior employees. Company is extremely cheapskate and honestly quite petty. Normal companies try to retain good talent when they try to leave - Dentsu instead tries to milk them as much as possible. Was leaving on a good note when I submitted my resignation, but now there's an extremely bitter taste in my mouth at the end of my notice period. Dentsu is having an annual salary freeze despite recently hiring a litany of new higher-ups and directors and lowballing juniors for YEARS. What you got at the point of offer is what you get - don't expect adjustment for inflation. Funniest part is during the announcement, only director-level and higher were spouting nonsense like "we're all in this together!" Try living on exec pay for a month and our workload before talking please. Management only cares about upper management, upper management only cares about themselves without realising that without junior employees, no account can be serviced. This company is a sinking ship, everyone with a brain has either left already or is trying to leave. Dentsu Singapore is now relying entirely on their expat staff that are "trapped" because of employment pass.
