Unethical

Pros

Some remote work available. Good health insurance

Cons

Training is TERRIBLE. The lack of support from higher ups is astounding. I was hired in with a large group, and 6 months later, almost all of the people were gone because of how badly this company treats its employees. None of their systems work. No one can ever give you a straight answer. Working here completely ruined my mental health. They have “listening sessions” to hear your concerns, then just gaslight you the whole time. Do NOT work here

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback – we truly value it. We understand that you have felt unsupported by our leadership and dissatisfied with our training and operational systems as well as with leadership. We are disappointed to hear your feedback about your onboarding experience as we have invested a lot into our new employee training program, and it often receives very positive feedback from employees. Recent months have been challenging operationally (including the implementation of multiple systems) due to circumstances outside our agency’s control, which our state partners remarked on in this open letter to the community: https://www.community.dpcolo.org/s/HCPF-Statement-on-CCM-Impact-for-CMAs-to-Send-to-Members.pdf. While we know we are not likely to shift your viewpoint here in this response, we want to reiterate that we highly value our employees and their contributions. We strive to create a work environment that honors their time, commitment, and expertise while providing opportunities that align with their skills. We recognize that your time with us did not meet these expectations, and we will use your feedback to improve the employee experience. Once again, thank you for sharing, and we wish you success in your future positions.

Pros

- Developed company culture - Flexible work hours - Progressive mindset - Open door policy - Employee engagement - Collaborative workspace - Generous amount of time off - Adequate training and onboarding support

Cons

- Those in upper level management continue to be promoted while annual budgets are communicated by the CEO to be uncertain - Caseloads are steadily increasing and case managers continue to be paid low wages - Opportunities to advance are limited - Spot bonuses are really more of a pat on the back and nothing life changing

We really appreciate your feedback. As a non-profit organization, we are responsible for using our funding in areas that impact individuals in services. However, we are always looking for ways to increase our Total Rewards package. Thank you taking the time to leave us a review.

Pros

The company promotes great culture, cares about the work being done and the individuals they serve. Great people to work with, four day work weeks, and professional trainings.

Cons

Underpaid for the amount of work and cost of living.

Do not waste your time, if you have a heart

Pros

None I could think of, except for the clients are the best part of the job, if you have a heart to care for them. It is very rewarding.

Cons

They hire just anyone. High turn over. A lot of favoritism, mismanagement. No training or experience needed to apply. Employees do not care or do their jobs because new managers are never around and/ or have any social work experience. Most that stay are just in it for their paychecks and vacation time. The good and hardworking people leave because there is no more integrity.

Pros

Intensive training program that makes you think youre being set up for success

Cons

The training will not cover a fraction of what you'll actually be dealing with. Expectations to mitigate intense and uncomfortable situations on day 1 ranging from families trying to get their kids taken away to foster care to managing familial disputes regarding who an adult with disabilities should live with. Too much pressure, not enough training, so many requirements and situations outside of the job description.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value the experiences of current and former DP employees and are committed to using their input to help shape our culture and policies. We continue to invest in comprehensive employee training programs and appreciate your insights as we work to enhance the employee experience. While we recognize that we may not be able to anticipate every situation our staff may encounter, we aim to ensure every team member feels supported and has the resources they need to thrive. We’re sorry to hear your experience did not reflect that, and we will thoughtfully consider your feedback as we identify opportunities for growth and meaningful change.
