Pros

I worked as a Mid-Python Developer, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The company is large, so the processes are sometimes challenging, but you can learn a lot and manage projects at a reasonable scale. The technology stack is up-to-date, with a lot of backend work, integration, and cloud computing.

Cons

Decision-making was slow due to numerous approvals and meetings. Sometimes, there's a lot of legacy code and technical debt. With major releases, the workload can spike significantly. For a mid-level developer, it's a good option to gain experience with larger systems and improve skills in Python and teamwork.

Pros

Spent around 2 years here as a mid python developer and the engineering culture is really top notch. The tech stack is modern, we use mostly FastAPI, Docker, and AWS, and management actually cares about code quality instead of just rushing features out. The team in Tallinn is super smart and onboarding was very smooth even though everything moves fast. Flexible hybrid setup is great, nobody forces you to sit in the office but the local office vibe is cool with good snacks and standard tech perks. Salary is also very competitive for the Estonian market.

Cons

Because the company is expanding globally so fast, cross-team communication is becoming a bit of a bottleneck. Documentation for some of the older, existing microservices is sometimes lagging behind which makes jumping into those parts of the codebase a bit frustrating. Also, because we collaborate with teams in different time zones, some alignment meetings can occasionally stack up late in the afternoon, which cuts into deep work time.
