Wage is lower than competitors Growth opportunities are typically outside of your home program or location Some program hours are undesirable in terms of nights and weekends

Pros

Advancement opportunities for those who seek them. Lots of benefits and perks (including discounted tickets, education assistance (higher education as well as free education through Coursera), leadership training (six sigma), etc.). Can be very rewarding for the right type of person.

Cons

Sometimes management focuses too much on the bottom line. But I also know we have amazing mission events and opportunities to impact the lives of our employees and the community, so I think we do our best overall.
