Pros

None. Horrible company with terrible leadership. No desire to improve or grow and will not value any employees opinions. You will be treated like a dog. There is a reason for the extremely high turnover rate and it falls directly on the management. Also, be prepared to work most holidays that 90% of other CPG companies take off including the largest retailer in the world.

Cons

You will not receive any training. There is no room to advance within the company and too many people fighting for too little work ( which leads to a very nasty environment). You will be "monitored on the cameras" (seriously, that's weird). You will give monthly presentations that have no relevance to the job. They are just to entertain middle managers with nothing better to do and other analysts who don't gain from learning about your very different account. You're work is not valued by the company and you will be ridiculed for making suggestions. Don't waste your time with this company and look for a company that treats its employees like they deserve and will help you progress in your career. If you have the misfortune of working on the WALMART team with B. Warren or P. Sikes keep a close guard. They are too worried about losing their spot in line and will throw anyone under the bus regardless of the situation. There are so many opportunities out there than to take one working for miserable people that try their hardest to make you miserable.

Don't Work Here

Pros

Friendly is about the only pro I can come up with for this place so if you're looking to socialize , yay! This is the place for you. Rather than doing their job, people tend to gossip and then complain about how busy they are afterward.

Cons

Salary is horrible. People are doing the work of 2 to 3 jobs and barely getting paid for the 1 they were initially hired for. Training is pretty non-existent. If you want to learn how to do something you better be ready to invest your own time into teaching yourself how to do it because you will get little to no help from your managers in regards to it. Managers, what managers? You have a ton of people in managerial roles that have no idea how to be managers. Too many of them think that their job is solely to delegate duties they don't want to do to those beneath them. What happened to managers being in the trenches with their employees??? This is a rarity at Dickies and it's extremely disheartening. Managers don't go to bat for their employees unless it somehow benefits them. You have some extremely selfish people in some high positions that are squashing down and holding back massively intelligent/hard working employees. Broken promises galore! Oh yeah we'll teach you that! Or we'll send you to this conference to network! X number of years later, none of it has happened.... Lack of upward movement. Prepare to get stuck because the ability to advance is almost non-existent and if you do advance be prepared to not get a decent increase in salary.

Pros

met some cool people. This makes you type 20 words, but I can't think of any other pros, hopefully this is long enough now.

Cons

Stereotypical attitude of superiority from upper management. Forget about any type of promotional path, it's a dead end job for 95% of the people who work there. I can only recommend you work here if you feel comfortable treating people like they are less than yourself and you are applying for a upper management position and are comfortable micro-managing your employees.
